The City of Springfield has announced the implementation of new utility billing software, resulting in a new look to your utility bill. This new online account has exciting new features that will allow you to:
- Make and schedule future payments free of charge using a credit or debit card.
- Make payments for multiple accounts in one transaction.
- Sign up to receive E-Bills.
- Sign up for text or phone notifications for new bill amounts and past due balances.
- Request disconnection of services.
With the new system, the City of Springfield can now notify you of upcoming disconnections by text/phone notifications. They will no longer be utilizing door hangers for past due accounts. Customers are advised to call the City of Springfield at 615-382-2200 to obtain their new account number to create an online account.
