Springfield officials updated residents on the condition of roads and power outages on Thursday morning.
The city reports that “all roads have reopened inside the city limits. We still have major flooded areas leading into the city limits in various places. Drivers should use caution and turn around if they see standing water. All electricity has been restored and traffic signals are working after some outages overnight. There were trees down but at this time, everything has been cleared.”
