It just doesn’t feel like Christmas until Santa arrives at the end of the local Christmas Parade. Saint Nick is going to be busy this year. Here are all of the local parades.

1Ridgetop Christmas Parade
December 1, 2023

Website

Time:  7:00 p.m. 

The parade will run from Watauga Elementary to Ridgetop Station Park. There will be lighted floats and pictures with Santa in the house at Ridgetop Station Park following the conclusion of the parade. Light refreshments will be served then too. Sponsored by Ridgetop Natural Gas Department.

 

2Cross Plains Fairytale Christmas Parade
December 2, 2023

Time:  10:00 a.m. 

The city is coordinating the event. Entries will line up at East Robertson High School (ERHS) starting at 8:00 a.m. The parade route will follow Highway 25 through Cross Plains.

 

3White House Christmas Parade and Christmas on Mainstreet
December 2, 2023

Time:  3:00 p.m.

The theme for the White House Christmas Parade is “Christmas Movies”. The Grand Marshall will be Miss Tennessee 2023 Brandee Mills.

Immediately following the White House Christmas Parade powered at 3pm will be Christmas on Main Street.

Activities will include:

4Portland Christmas Festival and Parade

Timess:  Main Activities: 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Parade: 5:30 p.m.

The Portland Christmas Festival will offer free activities on Main Street including music by Jada Vance, cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, pictures with Santa and more! There will also be a few food truck vendors and local restaurants and businesses will be open as well. This year’s parade theme is “Polar Express.” Its route is Freedom Drive to Portland East Middle School.

5Springfield Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade

Times:  Parade: 6:00 p.m.  Winter Wonderland: 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. 

Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Springfield at the annual night-time Christmas parade! Parade floats will be adorned with bright, twinkling lights and decorations that showcase community spirit and holiday cheer.

If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit, this parade is not to be missed. Bring your family and friends along for a night of wonder as you watch the brightly lit floats pass by with the sounds of jingle bells ringing through the streets. You might even catch a glimpse of Santa himself!

Winter Wonderland will take place nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., December 2 through December 23, 2023. Walk-through nights will be December 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2023. Admission is free. On December 9, there will be pony rides and craft projects for the kids. December 16 will be a movie night, weather permitting. And there will be another movie night and Little Critters Petting Zoo on December 23.

6Adams Christmas Parade

The Adams annual Tinsel and Tobacco Christmas Festivities will be held Saturday, December 2nd. Join us for Christmas fun including a parade, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa!

7Millersville Christmas Parade and Palooza
December 9, 2023

Time:  1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 

The event begins at the Millersville Community Center located at 1181 Louisville Highway. There will also be pictures with Santa, a chili cook-off and a tree lighting ceremony. Produced by Millersville Parks and Recreation.

8Christmas in Orlinda and Parade

Time: 4:30 p.m. 

Presented by the City of Orlinda and the Byrum Porter Senior Center the parade will be followed by live Christmas carols, coffee, cocoa and cookies at city hall from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
