Celebrate Our Nation’s Independence at Springfield’s Freedom Fest July 3

The City of Springfield’s Freedom Fest, presented by Grace Baptist Church, will take place on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, 4635 US-41. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

The fairgrounds will open at 3 p.m. with music beginning at 3:45 p.m. Seating will be available inside the arena. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs and blankets.

The free concert will include performances by Grammy-nominated gospel band, High Road, local artists, as well as The Oak Ridge Boys.

Free activities will include inflatables, games, and carnival rides. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors, including The Grilled Cheeserie, Golly G’s Food Truck, Big Thunder Events, J & J Concessions, Retro Monkey Sno, Whitts BBQ, and Robertson County Fair Concessions.

The evening will conclude with the city’s largest fireworks display beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Non-food vendor applications for Freedom Fest are available by request. Please contact Springfield Parks & Recreation at 615-382-1655 for more information.  Vendor fee is $25.00 and includes a 10×10 booth space. Applications must be submitted by June 6, 2022.

Free parking is available at the fairgrounds, Legion Park, and J. Travis Price Park.
