Nancy Louise Sharp, age 73 of the Stroudsville community in Robertson County, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Mrs. Sharp was born on July 16, 1948 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Charles H. and Lucille Miles Holt. She was retired as a caregiver for many for over 20 years. She loved square dancing and bike riding. Mrs. Sharp was a country girl at heart and dearly loved her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Wendell Huck Riggins; and her second husband, William Sharp.
Survivors include her sons, Wendell (Darlene) Riggins, Jr., Charles (Dawn) Riggins, and John (April) Riggins; brother, Marvin (Margie) Holt; sisters, Joanne Paulk, and Juanita “Lulu” (Bill) Spurlock; grandchildren, Trey Riggins (Lauren), David Riggins, Clint Gibson (Chyna), AnnaMarie Taylor (James), Zachrey O’Neal (Natasha), Cheynne Riggins (fianceꞌ Christian Sandogal), Shelby Riggins, Kim Riggins, Caileigh Severson, Dillon Severson, and Kendra (Tootie) Boone; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 12th, with Bro. Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Sango Cemetery with John Riggins, James Taylor, Wendell Riggins, Jr., Jayden Riggins, Clint Gibson, Jackie Luvins, and Bob Jackson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 11th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
