4th of July Celebrations in Robertson County

With the 4th of July on a Tuesday this year, celebrations will run between Saturday, July 1 and July 4. Adams, Tennessee will start off the activities with their Big Boom Celebration on July 1. All of the events will be offering food, music and family activities to get the celebrations started.

Remember to bring lots of sunscreen and water to keep everyone healthy, as it will more than likely be very hot.

1Adams Big Boom Independence Day Celebration

Join the City of Adams in celebrating American Independence with fun, food and fireworks! Park opens at 10am. Corn Hole tournament will begin at 4:00 p.m. Team entry is $25 and the winning team splits the money! Sign up by calling (615) 696-2593. They will waive the entry fee for the first 3 teams who volunteer to bring their boards. There will be food, live music, and fireworks at dark!

On July 1st at the White House Soccer Complex, the White House Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Americana Celebration and Brandon Webster Fireworks Show. The carnival will be open from June 29 until July 4 offering rides, games and family fun. The Carnival is produced by Belle City Amusement.

The Americana Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 1. There will be live music and great entertainment, too! Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a fantastic evening of fun!

Come hungry to enjoy some of the delicious food from their food truck row and plan on some family fun at the free activities for kids and adults like face painting, balloon twisters, henna artists and more.

Free Shuttle buses will run from City Hall, White House Middle School and the Church at Grace Park from 4:00 pm to Midnight on Saturday, July 1.

3Greenbriar Boosters Annual Turning of the Pig Independence Day Celebration

The event is held at the Louise Martin Ball fields on July 3rd from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Boston butts are slowly cooked on a huge open fire pit throughout the evening.

Barbecue sales begin on July 4th at 6:00 a.m. until everything is sold out. Barbecue will be sold by the pound and in family picnic packs. Popcorn, drinks, candy items, and vendor items will also be available at Turning of the Pig.

The Independence Day Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Greenbrier Elementary School parking lot. It will travel south towards Greenbrier High School.

Movie in the Park follows the event at dark hosted by the City of Greenbrier.

The Greenbrier Boosters host this longstanding event with pork sales profits going to Green Briar Marching Band and Concert Bands programs.

Started by Grace Baptist Church, in the last three years FreedomFest has become THE place to go to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day. Enjoy carnival rides, inflatables, youth games and activities, vendors, food trucks, and more. Entertainment will be provided by Megan Moroney, Ben Chapman, Jimmy Church Band and Buzzy Poole. Gates open at 4:00 PM. Fireworks will begin around 9:15 PM.
