You know the Christmas season has arrived when the Santa sightings begin. Here are three places in and around Robertson County where kids can get their photos taken with Santa. Some photo options are free and there is a charge for others. Let the holiday season begin!

Christmas on the Square is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, making Springfield the first place to celebrate the arrival of Santa himself! It’s never too early to kick off the holiday season, and there is no better place to do that than on the Historic Main Street. There will be craft vendors, food vendors, entertainment and much more! When the parade rolls into town, it is all about Rudolph the Reindeer having his night to shine!

Grab your family and friends and head over to RiverGate Mall for a picture with Santa! Santa will arrive on November 19, and he will have special pet nights from November 28 until December 12 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Sensory Friendly Event will take place with Santa on December 4 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. RSVP online in advance or the same day to get extra perks like two messages from the North Pole, a free personalized call from Santa, and All guests who visit Santa and purchase a photo package (onsite or online) get a free, personalized video from the North Pole after the visit. There will be crafts, pictures with Santa and snacks from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Coordinated by the Hendersonville Church of Christ Kids’ Ministry. Children may wear their favorite Christmas pajamas for a fun afternoon with Santa! Everyone is also welcome to a brief time of worship and a special Christmas program in the auditorium.
