While Adams, Tennessee may seem to be the epicenter for Halloween celebrations because of the Bell Witch, there are actually activities all over the county. Here is a list of a number of those events.

Since the Fall of 2002, as part of the Bell Witch Festival, David Alford’s play “Spirit: The Authentic History of the Bell Witch of Tennessee” has been performed on the grounds of Bell School in Adams, Tennessee. The very land where John Bell settled and the hauntings took place. The festival provides a unique opportunity for amateur and professional actors, musicians and technical staff to use their skills and talents under the direction of experienced directors and producers to bring the tale to life. 34th Annual Halloween Bash

This is a city-wide event for the citizens and surrounding communities of Greenbrier, TN. We would like to invite everyone out for a great and spooky time! The Boo Bash Dash benefitting CASA is back. It is Springfield’s favorite 5K and one mile fun run. Runners and walkers can enjoy the fall foliage. The 5K race begins at the ballfields in the back of the park and runs along the Greenway until the 2.5K turn around mark. This is a paved course with only minor elevation, perfect for experienced and beginning runners alike! The 5K will be timed by A Matter of Timing using chipped bibs. The Fun Run/Walk will not be timed. Parking will be available at the back of the park near the ballfields, in front of the pavilion.
There will also be a costume contest. It’s Halloween after all! Everyone wearing a costume will be entered. Prizes will be given for First, Second, and Third place! Bring your friends, bring your kids, bring your dog and have a little fun while exploring one of the most beautiful walking areas in Robertson County.
