White House police officers are getting a pay increase, while the department has also received four new police vehicles.
The department says the White House Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a substantial pay increase during last week’s meeting. The White House Police Department said the raise is an investment in the officers who serve the community.
Four new police vehicles were also approved in last year’s city budget have arrived. The vehicles are expected to provide officers with safer and more reliable equipment while on duty.
The White House Police Department thanked Mayor John Corbitt and Aldermen Sam Matthews, Jana Singer Spicer, Mollie Stokes Platt and Michael Wall for their continued support of the department and its officers.
