August 26, 2025 – Two additional homicide suspects were arrested yesterday by TITANS Unit detectives for the July 26 fatal shooting of Tyquan Jackson, 26, on the I-40 entrance ramp from Old Hickory Boulevard.

The investigation showed that Jackson was a patron at The End Zone restaurant and bar when he learned that persons were breaking into his Hyundai Kona in the parking lot. The auto burglars drove off and were pursued by Jackson. Shots were fired at Jackson’s Hyundai from the suspect’s vehicle on the entrance ramp.

Jonathan Brewington Jr., 20, and Hannah Crague, 34, were charged on August 1 with criminal homicide. Both admitted to being inside the vehicle at the time of the fatal shooting but said the two backseat passengers were the individuals who fired upon Jackson.

Further investigation, led by Homicide Unit Detective Adam Reese, identified James Redmond, 20, and Keilon Williams, 24, as the backseat passengers.

Williams was arrested Monday afternoon without incident on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. A firearm and marijuana were recovered as he was taken into custody. During an interview with detectives, he admitted to being one of the shooters. He was charged with criminal homicide and motor vehicle burglary. He remains jailed this morning on $110,000 bond.

TITANS detectives located Redmond and initiated a traffic stop near the county line. He fled north into Robertson County. Through assistance from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Redmond’s vehicle was disabled on I-24 West near Pleasant View. He stopped in the median and THP continued to provide aviation support as he ran from the car into the woods. After some time, MNPD Canine Units were able to track Redmond in the dense brush, and he was apprehended by Officer Daniel Kallman and Canine Nala. He was charged with criminal homicide, motor vehicle burglary and two counts of evading arrest. He remains jailed this morning on $175,000 bond.
