After consulting with emergency management officials and the National Weather Service, City of Springfield officials have decided to cancel the remaining Freedom Fest events scheduled to take place on Friday evening, July 3rd at the Robertson County Fairgrounds. The fireworks display is still scheduled to take place at 9:15pm.
The event was set to feature live entertainment, carnival rides, food vendors and a fireworks finale. Country music artist Easton Corbin was announced as the headliner for the event.
