The free, family-friendly event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the fairgrounds, located at 4635 U.S. 41, and will feature live entertainment, carnival rides, food vendors and a fireworks finale.

Country music artist Easton Corbin will headline the city’s sixth annual Freedom Fest. Known for his traditional country sound, Corbin earned the 2010 CMA New Artist of the Year award and has topped the charts with songs including “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.”

Additional entertainment will include performances by Buzzy Poole & the Department of Rock ‘n’ Roll, a classic rock and new country band, as well as The Nashville Soundz, who will perform a variety of multi-genre music throughout the evening.

Along with the music lineup, attendees can enjoy carnival rides, inflatables and local vendors. A variety of food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

The evening will wrap up with the city’s fireworks display, expected to begin around 9:30 p.m.

Free parking will be available at Legion Park. A clear bag policy will be in effect during the event, and non-transparent bags will not be permitted. Residents are encouraged to follow the city’s social media pages for updates as the event approaches.
