The Springfield Electric Department is excited to host a customer appreciation event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, October 10 at Springfield Electric, 1000 Central Avenue West.
Current Springfield Electric customers will be treated to an individually boxed lunch and receive a free gift from the department as they drive through the designated area. Attendees should remain inside their vehicles at all times and follow instructions when entering and exiting the parking lot to ensure the event remains safe for all guests.
Springfield Electric’s customer appreciation event coincides with Public Power Week, which is celebrated in October each year. Public Power Week was created to better help customers understand the importance and benefits of public power and to provide utility companies with the opportunity to engage with their customer base.
