Residents are invited to start the new year with conversation and community connection as the Springfield Police Department hosts the first Coffee with a Cop event of 2026, bringing locals together with police officers in an informal setting.
The meet-and-greet is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at McDonald’s, located at 2113 Memorial Blvd. Officers will be on hand to chat with community members over coffee, offering a relaxed opportunity to talk and connect.
