A search is underway for a Tennessee Department of Correction inmate who escaped from a Nashville hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Gregory Redden, 63, escaped from Nashville General Hospital around 2 p.m. after getting out of his handcuffs and leg shackles, according to MNPD. MNPD is searching for him with assistance from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Redden is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has blue eyes and was last described as wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants.
He was serving time for a 2010 conviction for aggravated robbery.
