The recent winter storm continues to cause school closures across the middle Tennessee area. Here are the latest school closures.

Cheatham County School
Due to continued icy conditions on many secondary roads and school campuses, the Cheatham County School District will remain closed on Thursday, February 5.
Our extended daycare program will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and daycare students will need to bring a lunch.
Communication regarding athletic games and practices will be shared directly with athletic directors and coaches.
We are awaiting approval from the Tennessee Department of Education for a waiver on Thursday due to the exhaustion of our stockpile days. We will treat Thursday’s closure as an inclement weather day and not a virtual learning day.
Families, thank you for your patience and understanding during this winter storm. We know unexpected schedule changes can create challenges at home, and we appreciate the flexibility you are showing while we work to keep our students and staff safe.
Dickson County Schools
Dickson County schools will be closed on Thursday February 5th and Friday February 6th according to Director of Schools, Dr. Christie Southerland.
Robertson County Schools
Due to hazardous road conditions throughout the county, Robertson County Schools will remain closed Thursday, February 5, 2026
