The Robertson County Recovery Fest will return Saturday, Aug. 22, with an afternoon of live entertainment, food and recovery resources aimed at supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, 4635 U.S. 41 in Springfield.
This year’s festival will feature a new attraction, the first-ever “Recovery Rumble,” with live wrestling presented by the Legendary Wrestling Alliance.
In addition to wrestling, attendees can enjoy food, live music and connect with local organizations offering recovery and support services.
Organizers say the event is designed to help reduce the stigma surrounding substance use disorder while celebrating those in recovery and connecting people with available resources.
Freeman Recovery Center is serving as a sponsor of this year’s event.
