Robertson County Gun Store Damaged in Break-In Attempt

Authorities are investigating after a vehicle was used to smash into a Robertson County gun store early Thursday morning, WKRN reports.

Police were called to Guns and Leather on Highway 41 South just before 5 a.m. A group of suspects are believed to have used a Kia Soul to reverse into the store’s glass entrance at high speed, apparently in an attempt to gain entry.

This isn’t the first time the family-run shop has been targeted. In July 2022, a truck was used to crash through the storefront, forcing a temporary closure while repairs were made.

It remains unclear whether any firearms were stolen during Thursday’s incident.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is now assisting with the investigation.
