“We are incredibly proud to welcome Robert’s Western World to the new Nissan Stadium,” said Chelsea Lipocky, the Titans’ head of stadium, revenue and strategy in a release. “It has always been our goal to use this stadium to represent the very best of our city and state, and there is no better way to do that than by highlighting and honoring local businesses, especially one with as much history as Robert’s.”

Known as “Nashville’s Home of Traditional Country Music,” Robert’s Western World has earned a reputation as one of the last authentic honky-tonks on Lower Broadway. The business originally opened as Rhinestone Western Wear, selling boots and Western apparel before gradually adding live music and evolving into the well-known entertainment venue it is today.

“We feel we have a huge responsibility in protecting and preserving the tradition, history and integrity of the music that built our beautiful ‘Music City,’” said Emily Ann Jones, co-owner of Robert’s Western World. “When presented this opportunity from our hometown team, we had no reservations, as they understood what we are all about. We are grateful to the Titans for recognizing our love for this city and the tradition we are trying to preserve, and we are honored to join them at their beautiful new stadium.”

The new stadium location will include several features inspired by the original Robert’s Western World, including checkerboard floors, portraits, neon signs and a boot display.

To celebrate the announcement, the Titans will participate in Robert’s Western World’s Fan Fair on Monday, Aug. 3. The free, family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to midnight along the 400 block of Lower Broadway.
