The reward for information leading to the arrest of escaped inmate Jacob Allen Morley has increased to $15,000 as law enforcement continues searching for him.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Oct. 28 that the combined reward includes $7,500 from the Tennessee Governor’s Office, $2,500 from the TBI and $5,000 from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Morley escaped from the Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County late Sunday night, Oct. 25, according to the TBI.
Investigators later obtained video showing Morley stealing a white 2008 Ford F-350 around 1 a.m. Oct. 26 from the 400 block of Keystone Drive in Lake County. The truck, Tennessee tag 138BBQV, was marked with Lindamood Planting Company on the side and had an air compressor in the bed.
The stolen truck was found abandoned early Oct. 27 in Marion, Illinois. Morley’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Morley is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs between 240 and 270 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair and is considered dangerous.
Anyone with information about Morley is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND. Anyone who sees him should not approach him and should call 911 immediately.
