May 8, 2024 – Over 1,000 Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation customers are without power due to severe weather on Wednesday.
UPDATE 11:00 am – Around 1,700 members remain without power across our service area. The largest outage continues to be 1,200 members in the Greenbrier area, where a fallen tree has caused downed lines.
A smaller outage in the Cottontown area is affecting around 150 members.

According to CEMC, the estimated number of outages rose to 1,700 around 11am. The company says the outages were caused by fallen trees.
