The Nashville residency will run Nov. 24 through Dec. 31, 2026, bringing back the family-friendly production with circus acts, magic, elaborate costumes and immersive holiday storytelling.
Created by Broadway director and producer Neil Goldberg, POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance is based on the storybook series of the same name. The production has expanded across books, toys, animation, television and live entertainment.
Last year’s Gaylord Opryland production received a 2026 Telly Award for best “Immersive Holiday Show.”
“Our mission continues to deliver high-quality affordable family content to audiences around the world,” Goldberg said. “Partnering with Gaylord Opryland allows us to expand that mission through extraordinary live performances at a destination renowned for holiday programming.”
The show will again take place inside the Tennessee Ballroom Theater, where oversized storybook illustrations are used to create the feeling of stepping into the pages of the story.
The production follows best friends Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance as they attend a secret university devoted to music, magic and circus arts. Along the way, the characters explore friendship, individuality and holiday themes.
This year’s production features a cast of 27 performers and more than 100 costumes and wigs, along with circus acts, illusions, music and an appearance by Santa.
Before the show, guests can also explore the POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance Universe, an interactive holiday area featuring lights, décor, storybook characters and pop-up performances. Displays include oversized reindeer, candy canes, nutcrackers and an 18-foot gingerbread man.
Tom Petrillo, area general manager of Gaylord Opryland, said the show quickly became a guest favorite during its first season.
“We’re excited to welcome POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance back for a second season as part of our 43rd annual A Country Christmas celebration,” Petrillo said. “The show quickly became a guest favorite, combining extraordinary artistry, immersive storytelling and holiday spirit.”
The return of POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance joins Gaylord Opryland’s signature holiday attraction, ICE!, as part of the resort’s seasonal lineup.
