Vickie Diane Riddle-Patula passed peacefully at home into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 26, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, joy, and strength that touched everyone blessed to know her.

Vickie drew her unwavering strength from her deep relationship with Jesus Christ. Her heart overflowed with love for her children, Charlye Ramsey and husband Josh Aman, and Houston Ramsey and wife Becky. She adored her precious grandchildren, Preston Ramsey, Carter Ramsey, Indigo Aman, Phoenix Aman, and Jupiter Aman who brought her immense joy and laughter.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Janet (Mike) Theiss and Pam (Shannon) Neal; her dearest friend, “BFF” Elizabeth Chezem; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends. Vickie was preceded in death by her husband George Patula, her beloved granddaughter, Charlotte Aman; her parents, William Henry “Rusty” and Doris Scott Riddle; her brothers, Bill Riddle and Tommy Riddle; her sister, Sandra Riddle; and her nephew, James “Punkin” Moore Jr.

Born on April 25, 1959, in Houston, Texas, Vickie lived her life to the fullest and was known for her strength, generosity, and radiant spirit. She graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, earning a degree in Registered Nursing. Her career reflected her deep care for others and her servant’s heart.

Vickie was an active member of Lighthouse Ministries, where she volunteered her time and cherished fellowship with women who shared her faith. She found happiness in horseback riding with friends, line dancing, and crocheting. She loved her family deeply, animals – especially horses – contemporary Christian music and good Mexican food.

A celebration of Vickie’s remarkable life will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00-5:00 with service to follow at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that donations be made in her memory to causes close to her heart, Open Door Pregnancy & Resource Center, Isaiah 117 House Robertson County, Haven 12:10 Animal Sanctuary.

Vickie’s faith, love, and laughter will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
