Susan Diane Michael of Greenbrier, TN passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, surrounded by her only son DJ.
Susan was born May 21, 1950, in Nashville, TN to William and Nora Alexander. She is survived by son, DJ; two granddaughters, Summer and Savannah; sister, Elaine Ray; brother, Thomas Alexander and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Madison High School in 1968. She began her banking career at First American which changed to Regions and concluded her career as a credit specialist with Pinnacle Financial Partners.
She was known by her family for her infectious laugh, love of yard selling, angels, wind spinners and intriguing ways to disguise giving money at Christmas that did not involve a simple envelope.
She was remembered by her coworkers on one hand as a high heel wearing, matter of fact, no nonsense, tenacious, punctual, having impeccable work ethic with tremendous recall of historical events in the banking industry. On the other hand, her coworkers also know her for her sensitivity to others, being a dear friend, easy to manage, respectful and appreciative of all the opportunities and friendships gained at Pinnacle Financial Partners.
She is with the angels in heaven and will be greatly missed.
