Sandra Elizabeth Kilgore “Sandy”, age 78, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock pm, Sunday, December 14th, at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton with Bro. Corey Minter and Bro. Barry Simpson officiating.
Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Troy Ellis, Brad Ellis, Frank Kilgore, Jason Kilgore, Dell Kilgore, and Marc Majors serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Saturday, December 13th from 12:00-4:00PM, and again at the church on Sunday beginning at 1:00PM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mrs. Sandy was born on January 27, 1947, in Ashland City, Tennessee, to the late James T. & Ruby Felts Ellis. She retired after 20 years as a nurse. She was a caregiver for many and was the owner/operator of Sandy’s Playhouse & Daycare. She enjoyed drawing and painting and was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Kilgore, Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Don Jr. (Angie) Kilgore and Jeff (Keeley) Kilgore; daughter, Kristen (Charles) Allen; brother, Jimmy (Helen) Ellis; grandchildren, Kolton (Gabriella) Kilgore, Gracie (fiancé Karson Richmond) Kilgore, Gaige Allen, Gaibriella Allen, and Mikayla Kilgore; and great-grandchildren; and Everleigh Kilgore and one on the way, Silas Kilgore.
