Born September 12, 1943 in Truro Nova Scotia, Canada to the late James Charles and Laura Clare (Beyore) Mason. Bob served our country in the Air Force from May of 1964 to June of 1966 and was discharged from the Air Force Reserve in May of 1970. On August 18, 1969, he was sworn in as a Naturalized Citizen.
Bob came to the US to join the military and attend college in California. After leaving the military, he moved to Tennessee for work where he met and married Sammie Holcomb, his wife of 59 years. They eventually settled down in the small town of Ridgetop, Tennessee where they made their home for almost 36 years.
