Randall Keith Vinson, 65, of Springfield, passed from this life on Sunday December 28, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday January 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Randall was born December 18, 1960, in Nashville, to the late Jimmie Vinson and the late Betty Lou Mantlo Ragsdale. He worked many years in the carpentry and construction field. Randall enjoyed flying drones, watching football and westerns, fishing with his buddies, Buster and Chucky, and operating remote-control cars. He always loved working with his hands in whatever job he was doing, and the highlight of Randall’s day was caring for his dog: Nadia that he loved so much, and spending time with his granddaughter: Haylee, his daughter: Carie, and his buddies: Buster and Chucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Ryan Vinson, by his wife: Sherry Goff Vinson, by his sister: Pamela Vinson Hargrove, by his niece: Tia Vinson, and by his nephew: Jason Ledbetter.
Randall is survived by his daughter: Carie (Dennis) Smith of Springfield, by his granddaughter: Haylee Vinson (Dalton Craig), by his dog: Nadia, by his brothers: Jerry Vinson and Jeff Ragsdale both of Springfield, and by his sisters: Kay Hobart of Cottontown, and Sandra Ledbetter of Clanton, AL.
Services have been entrusted to Robertson County Funeral Home.
