Ophelia Winifred Olson, age 8 months, went into the arms of Jesus on January 7, 2026 at the home of her grandparents in Pleasant View, Tennessee. There will be a private family burial in the Carolina Memorial Sanctuary in Mills River, NC. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
Baby Ophelia was born on April 29, 2025 in Asheville, North Carolina to her loving parents, Blake & Morgan Olson of Bakersville, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Wylie; grandparents, Kellie & Mark Olson of Pleasant View, TN and Teresa & Jerry Buchanan of Johnson City, TN; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to the doctors, nurses and staff of both Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC and to Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Although her life was brief, Ophelia was loved by so many that never had the opportunity to meet her- yet, she touched the lives of these.
