Mrs. Mildred Louise Groves age 78, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning January 16, 2025. Mildred was born on July 6, 1946 in Robertson County, Tennessee to the late Howard and Mary Carr.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Doretha Carr and Mary Allen Lamont.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Ricky Groves; daughter, Mandy Denz; grandchildren, Seth Denz, Cierra Denz and Josh Denz; sister, Frances Adcock.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January 19th from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
