Michael Lee Hicks, 70, of White House, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at Skyline Medical Center on October 14, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on November 28, 1954, Michael lived a life full of stories, laughter, and cherished memories.
Mike was known for his ability to tell a story like no other, his infectious sense of humor, and his love of fishing. Friends and family will remember his warmth, his laughter, and the joy he found in sharing time with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy Templeton Hicks and Paul Hicks, and his brothers, Billy Hicks and Cecil Hicks.
Mike is survived by his sons, David Hicks (Angela) and Chris Hicks (Jessica); his brothers, Gary Hicks and Ricky Hicks (Lori); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his dear friend Don Harris; his neighbor and nephew, Spencer Hicks; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with numerous other family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 12pm. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, October 28, 2025 10am-12pm prior to the service, where all who knew him are welcome to gather and honor a life well-lived.
