Margaret Helen “Margie” Hall, 81, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday, January 6, 2025, at American House Assisted Living in Hendersonville.
Margie was born April 12, 1943, in Rome, IN to the late John Parris and Lula Florence Dutschke Roberts.
She was a graduate of the Class of 1961 at Durrett High School, in Louisville, KY. Margie owned and operated Margie’s Beauty Salon for many years and she also worked in marketing research. She was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a current member of Springfield Baptist Church. Margie loved to play softball and bowl, and was a participant in various leagues. She was a passionate supporter and volunteer with the Open Door Pregnancy Center, the Robertson County Disaster Relief Team, and Samaritan’s Purse. Both Margie and her husband Jim were participants in Hati and Dominican Mission trips. Above all, Margie loved her Lord, her family, her church, and her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: August, Dorothy, Rita, Patty, and Barbara.
Margie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jim Hall of Springfield, by her sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Shelly Hall of Greenbrier, Patrick and Ellen Hall of Brandenburg, KY, by her grandchildren that she loved so much, Hunter (Rachel) Hall, Cody Hall, Spencer (Laura) Hall, Lauren Hall, Weston Hall, and Cara Layne Hall, and by her devoted caregivers, Katy Webster, Ashley Benson, Teonnia Sikoro, and Louise Head.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Woodard and Reverend Bob Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Hunter Hall, Cody Hall, Spencer Hall, Weston Hall, Dave Stambaugh, and John Hall serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the workers and volunteers with Open Door Pregnancy Center and the Robertson County Disaster Relief Team. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home and on Friday, January 17th from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. https://www.robertsoncountyfuneralhome.com
