Linda Mason Corbin, 89, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday, January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Corbin was born October 10, 1935, in Springfield, to the late Chester and Martha Anderson Mason.
She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church throughout her early life, and was currently a member of Springfield Baptist Church. She worked many years for the Robertson County Clerks Office. Mrs. Corbin was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She loved working in her yard and picking strawberries. Her love and wisdom will forever be a constant source of comfort. We are blessed to have had her as our Matriarch, and she will be forever cherished in our hearts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Corbin, by her son, John Robert “Rob” Corbin, II, by her siblings and their spouses, Nancye (Ralph) King, Don Mason, Rachel Turney, C.C. (Diana Waters) Mason, Jr., and Ed Goodlett.
Mrs. Corbin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Michelle and T.C. Miller of White House, by her grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, and Tanner all of White House, by her siblings and their spouses, Janelle Goodlett of Clarksville, Mary Ellen (Frank) Cleveland of Duluth, GA, Kenneth (Juliana) Mason of Springfield, Barbara Mason of Springfield, and by many loved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held, in the Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield, on Saturday February 1st at 2:00 p.m. with Joe Donald King officiating. Pallbearers will T.C. Miller, Tyler Miller, Tanner Miller, Kenneth Mason, Micah Stotsky, Matthew Detlefsem. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. https://www.robertsoncountyfuneralhome.com
