Linda H. Heatherly, 80, of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Sunday July 20, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Springfield.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Reverend Bob Filson officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Traughber, Dawson Traughber, Andrew Traughber, Levi Traughber, James Traughber, and Urijah Presler.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Linda was born November 15, 1944, in Tampa, FL, to the late Otis and Barbara Benton Holt.
She worked many years for Oscar Mayer, and then retired from Tyson Foods as a line supervisor.
Linda was of the Baptist faith, and she enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, canning, gardening, going to yard sales on the weekend, playing bingo, and was an avid reader.
She was always a hardworking and selfless lady that loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Thomas Heatherly, by her son: Michael Heatherly, and by her siblings: Ray Holt and Catherine Yeargain.
Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Tracy Ayers of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Jenna (David) Traughber, Taylor Presler, Debra Raye Heatherly, Ashley Duncan, and Kaleb Heatherly, by her 18 great grandchildren with #19 soon to arrive, by her brothers: Ronnie Holt of Adams and Joe (Donna) Holt of Adams, and by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Wayne and Polly Heatherly of Springfield.
