OBITUARY: Kenny Ray Elliott

Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Elliott, 61, of Springfield, passed away from this life Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM with brother Jim Lassiter officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Elliott was born on August 19, 1964, in Denver, Colorado to the late Jesse Jones Elliott and the late Phyllis Irene Donkin Pendleton. He was a graduate of the Springfield High School class of ’83. Mr. Elliott was a machinist for 28 years. He was a member of Robertson County 4-H, and he was active with the American Legion. In his free time, Mr. Elliott enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, raising goats, bailing hay, chopping wood, making walking canes, playing BINGO, and most of all, spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his brother: Scott Allan Elliott, and sisters: Kerry Kay Spicer, and Rebecca Lynn Daniels (Hardaway). He is survived by his daughters: Amanda (Clarence) Carthren of Dyersburg, Heather (Jonathon) Barrett of Greenbrier, and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Burgess of Cornersville, by his sister: Lanette Spicer of Keysburg, KY, by his eighteen grandchildren, by his great-grandson: Teegan, by his special friend: Cheryl Parker of Springfield, by his step-sons: Andy (Magen) Honeycutt of LaVergne, and Joey (Morgan) Honeycutt of Brush Creek, by the mother of his children: Patricia Elliott of Portland, and by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

The family requests, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made payable to the Wounded Warrior Project. Memorial donations may be sent in care of Robertson County Funeral Home.
