Joshua Lynn “Josh” Thomas, 48, of Madison, passed away on Saturday April 11, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Mays officiating. Interment will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Gavin Hopkins, Greg Stroud, Jamie Jackson, Mikey Grogan, Troy Dorris, and Justin Dorris serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Josh was born September 10, 1977, in Springfield. He worked as vehicle body restoration specialist and was a Christian. Josh was a good guy that enjoyed antique cars, NASCAR, listening to music, and restoring cars. He was preceded in death by his mother: Rita Joyce Yoder Thomas.
Josh is survived by his son: Ryan Thomas of Springfield, by his daughter: Bralynne Thomas of Bakersfield, CA, by his grandson: Jameson Dean Thomas, by his father: Ricky Thomas, by his sister: Lindsay Thomas, by his aunts: Gwen Grogan and husband Michael of Springfield, Connie Stroud and husband Jim of Springfield, and by the mother of his son: Jessica Hale of Cedar Hill.
