Jo Carolyn Aldridge, age 86 of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Tennessee on Monday, July 14th at 1:00PM with Dr. David Dean officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00PM-6:00PM and again on Monday from 9:30AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.

Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jacob Aldridge, Jordon Resnick, Hannah Woods, Matthew Mayo, Craig Harris, and Trent Harris serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Aldridge was born on August 10, 1938 in Orlinda, Tennessee to the late James & Mary Denning Fisher. Carolyn spent over 20 years as a cafeteria manager in the Robertson County school system. In addition to her role as a bus driver, her diverse talents and hobbies included serving at church and directing Vacation Bible School during her early years at Lights Chapel and Cross Roads Baptist Church.

For over 40 years she was raised on a farm and well-versed in farming, tobacco, milking cows, and cooking meals for her family. She was a constant source of support for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, while also serving as a dedicated prayer warrior. She was a very godly woman and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Aldridge; brothers, James Fisher and Danny Fisher; sister, Ruth Abrams, and grandchild, Ellen Coyle.

She is survived by her son, Jamie (Jo) Aldridge; daughters, Rhonda (Lynn) Mayo, Jo (Gary) Harris, and Bonnie (Jackie) Woods; sister, Dianne (Neil) Manies; grandchildren, Janna Harris, Jacob Aldridge, Matthew Mayo, Jenny Wall, Trent Harris, Hannah Woods, Kristen Soard, and Darcey Hutchinson; and 12 great-grandchildren.
