James Lewis Wilson, age 71, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 6pm at Grace Baptist Church, 4273 Keith Road, Springfield, TN with Brother Dougie Spain officiating.
Mr. Wilson was born March 27, 1954 in Springfield to the late Robert Louis and Sallye Mae Horn Wilson. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the Owens Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, tractors and farming.
In addition to his parents Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Minnis, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Pam Wilson, and his aunt, Jessie Mae Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Sandra Parsley Wilson; daughter, Kris Long; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Maria Wilson; grandchildren, Lexie (Dillon) Mac, Jeffrey Barnhart, Tyler Barnhart, and Jacob Barnhart; and great-grandchild, Deacon James Mac.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
