Howard Tiple Jernigan, Jr. age 95 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 11am on Monday, November 24th, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Howard was born February 6, 1930 in Dearborn, MI to the late Howard T. Jernigan, Sr. and Bertha Brant Jernigan. He was also preceded in death by son, Milton Dale Jernigan; sisters, Barbara Boggs and Ethel Martin.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved his family, fishing and playing bingo very much. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and worked for Kelly Armstrong Tire Company.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Arnell Williams Jernigan; son, Joe Thomason; daughters, Debbie (Steve) Crain, Mitzi (Wilburn) Malugen; brother, Tommy Jernigan.
