Elizabeth James, born on January 23, 1932, peacefully departed this world on February 14, 2025, leaving behind a cherished legacy of love and kindness. Throughout her life, Elizabeth embodied the values of compassion and generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her warm smile and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, making her a beloved figure in her community.
Elizabeth’s life will be memorialized through a series of services held at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. Friends and family are invited to gather on March 14, 2025, beginning with a Visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where those who knew and loved Elizabeth will reflect on the joy she brought into their lives. An Inurnment service will conclude the day’s events, taking place from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Elizabeth’s contributions to her family and friends, as well as her unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her, will be remembered fondly. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, and may her memory forever remain a blessing to all.
