Dorothy Lee Boyte, age 92, of Savannah, TN, formerly of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Hardin Home Nursing Home in Savannah.
Ms. Boyte was born March 17, 1932, in Robertson County, to the late R. L. Boyte and the late Mary Davis Forester Boyte.
She worked for the State of Tennessee and also as a cashier for the Lexington, KY Meat Market.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Boyte was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Boyte; and sisters, Susie “Tootsie” Robertson, Mildred Bracey, Helen Coleman, and Mary Traughber.
She is survived by a sister, Jolene Grogan.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday, December 7th in the Elmwood Cemetery with Pastor Billy Traughber, Dr. Jeff Laborg, and Pastor Bradlee Laborg officiating.
