Dennis Alan Dorris, age 68, of Springfield, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at the home of his mother in Orlinda. Mr. Dorris’ wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled.
Mr. Dorris was born December 27, 1956, in Nashville, to the late Vadis Cleo Dorris, and Mrs. Frances Louise Moses Dorris. He was a Master Control Operator for television stations in Nashville and Bowling Green.
In addition to his father, Mr. Dorris was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Dorris. He is survived by his mother, Frances Louise Dorris; brother, Chad Dorris; sister, April (Jeff) Owens; sister-in-law, Karen Dorris; nieces, Corinne Owens and Kaylee Crabtree; and nephews, Hunter Owens and Corey Dorris.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
