Springfield – Debra Leeann Cooper, aged 67, born on February 18, 1958, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and comfort on October 20, 2025, in Springfield Tennessee. Debra is survived by her two brothers, one sister, one beloved daughter, one grandson, and a granddaughter soon to be born.
Born in Muskegon Michigan, Debra spent her later years in Crystal River, Florida where she embraced the peaceful spring waters and coastal wildlife with her family and her beloved canine companions.
Debra’s life was a beautiful reflection of her spunky yet tender spirit. She will be remembered for her humor, resilience and the generous love she poured into family, friends, and even strangers. An exceptional cook, Debra was passionate about every meal she made. Her kitchen was a place of gathering, comfort, and joy-where family and friends came together to share her delicious dishes and her even sweeter company. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched everyone she met.
In her final months, Debra was devotedly cared for by her niece who provided comfort and compassion. Together they shared laughter, stories, and gentle moments that reflected the deep love of family.
In accordance with her wishes, Debra was cremated at Serenity Funeral Home in Springfield, Tennessee. As she requested, there will be no formal services. The family asks that all who knew Debra keep her in their thoughts and continue to spread kindness in her memory.
