Curtis Lee Henry of Clarksville, TN died October 1,2026 in Nashville, TN at the 67.
Born November 1, 1958, in Phenix City, AL to the late Mamie Baskerville and Levi Henry.
Curtis Henry leaves behind to cherish his memories and love. His wife Gail Henry; sons, Curtis Lee Henry,Jr., Quayshan Horton Henry, Kevin Webb; daughters Keisha Yvonne Henry Murdock (Antonio), Latasha Nicole Henry-Ross (Ray’mone), Lacresha Henry (Gary Thompson), Julia Godinez; brother, Timothy Kennedy (Tracy); grandchildren, Marqwazen Lee Murdock, Daiquan Lee Murdock, LaZhya A. Murdock, Gary Dwayne Thompson, Tiana Monique Moten, Demarcus Raymone Ross, Paulina Griffin (Courtney), Alonso Ortiz; great grandchildren, Alaina, Acari, Carson; goddaughter, Danielle Oritz (Ramon); god sisters, Bernadetta Tucker, Sandra Jones (Terry), Linda Sprayberry, Arlene Brown.
Curtis Henry graduated high school and entered the U.S. Army at the age of 18 years old, he served the Army in September 1976, to make a better life for his self and his family. His first duty station was in Germany. Curtis married Gail in October of 1976, then was stationed in Hinesville, GA. After Ga, Curtis returned to Germany for another 3.5 years. He enjoyed doing logistics in Ft. Riley, KS and then moved his family to Aberdeen, MD. His final duty station was Fort Campbell, KY where he and his wife spent years working with 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, then they both retired and shared many years together as they enjoyed traveling, family time, and the many trips to the casinos.
Curtis served in the church at Calvary Baptist Church in NJ and continued to serve at Kenwood Baptist Church as a faithful member. Curtis was also a member of the Masons for over 16 years and served many seats.
A celebration of life service will be held in Curtis’s honor on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10 am in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Eads officiating. A visitation we be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be rendered directly after the visitation.
