Carolyn Patricia (Patsy) Meadows, age 84 went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 21, 2025 at her home.
She was born November 19, 1940 in Nashville, TN to Harold & Orene Linder Clark. She was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School, where she played basketball from the 7th grade through the 12th grade. She attended Volunteer State and Vanderbilt studying Business Administration.
Patsy started her business career with J.C. Bradford and continued in their research department for 38 years. She was a member of Madison Creek Baptist Church, where she served faithfully in the Sanctuary Choir and as Treasurer.
She met the love of her life, Robert Carl Meadows in White House, TN. Patsy loved traveling, having traveled with Carl around the United States, all of the islands and five cruises.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Meadows; two sisters, Norma and Geraldine.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Michael) Hammer, White House, TN; two granddaughters, Brook (Nick) Legan and Brittney (Corey Baker); three great-grandchildren, Madison Legan, Joseph Baker and Nova Baker; and brothers, Ray (Wilma) Clark, FL, Claude “Buddy” Clark and Ronald Clark, both of TN.
Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Dr. James Ryan officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is planned for Thursday, April 24, 2025 10am-2pm at the funeral home.
