Alice Faye Binkley, age 82, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Riverview Post Acute in Ashland City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Monday, November 10th, at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Joelton with Bro. Barry Simpson, Bro. Corey Minter, and Bro. Tom Malone officiating.
Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with Dallas Beerman, Ryan Foust, Zachery Beerman, Corey Foust, John Daniel Newland, and Michael Newland serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Alice was born on May 29, 1943, in Springfield, Tennessee, to the late Rev. Raymond Mayo & Inez Fields Mayo. She was retired from Acme Boot Company, was an avid reader, and loved to play cards and board games. She also passionately loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Binkley; brothers, Rev. Ray Mayo & Wayne Mayo; great-granddaughter, Jubilee Hope Foust; and beloved border collie, Sugar.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna (Robert) Newland, Cynthia Binkley, and Raquel (Wayne) Walker; brother, Pete Mayo; sisters, Barbara Hatfield, Delana Cheatham, and Doni Mayo (Dave Hodge); grandchildren, Dallas, Ryan, Shelby, Jessica, Amanda, Zachery, Corey, John Daniel, Kalvin, Rachel, Elizabeth, and Michael; and 17 great-grandchildren.
