The 11th annual event, organized by the Exchange Club of Donelson-Hermitage in partnership with the Colonial Flag Foundation, will take place November 5–14 near the Hermitage Presbyterian Church. The display also raises funds for several charitable organizations supporting veterans and families.
A dedication ceremony will take place Friday, November 6, at 2 p.m., featuring keynote speaker Colonel Donny W. Hebel of the Tennessee National Guard. The closing ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at 10 a.m. Both ceremonies are open to the public.
The Field of Honor will be open for public viewing November 9–13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors can purchase or sponsor a flag, with proceeds benefiting organizations including the Gary Sinise Foundation, REBOOT Combat Recovery, The Family Center, Youth Villages, Nashville USO and Volunteers of America–Veteran Services.
You can pick up sponsored flags after the closing ceremony on November 14. Flags not collected that day will be available at Pinnacle Financial Partners, 424 Donelson Pike, through December 4.
