Former Employee Accused of Stealing $350K From Williamson County Church

A Williamson County church employee was arrested Thursday after being accused of stealing more than in $350,000 in church funds.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the Southall Church employee in August 2025 after the church suspected theft.

During the investigation, WCSO Detectives says 58-year-old, Paul Leo Tremblay of White House stole from the church over nine years of employment. Tremblay most recently served as the church’s financial stewardship pastor through 2025.

A Williamson County grand jury indicted Tremblay on Sept. 3, 2026, on a charge of theft of property valued at $250,000 or more. A capias was issued for his arrest.

WCSO arrested Tremblay on Sept. 10 and booked him into the Williamson County Criminal Justice Center. His bond was set at $75,000.

Tremblay is scheduled to appear in Williamson County Circuit Court on Sept. 30..
