Centennial Park offers a variety of events over the years from live music to art events. Here are events, so far, scheduled to take place at Centennial Park in 2025. The park is part of the Metro Parks system and is located at 2500 West End Avenue, Nashville.

Explore art and history alongside our museum experts, including our permanent exhibition of American art, temporary exhibitions, and the interior re-creation of the ancient Parthenon.

Making their ECHO debut at the Parthenon, SistaStrings is a dynamic musical duo comprised of sisters Chauntee and Monique Ross, whose exceptional talent and versatility has made a profound impact on the music scene.

Learn about the original construction of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, and explore 2,500 years of architectural history as the structure transitioned from Greek temple to Christian church to Ottoman mosque.

Join this celebration of Chinese culture as the Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville ushers in the Chinese New Year of the snake.

Join us for the second Kidsville Family Walk! Families will have the opportunity to get active as they interact with nature, play games, and participate in arts and crafts activities.

Parnassus Books is pleased to partner with The Parthenon for a special workshop, You Had Me at Hello – A Romance Writer’s Workshop, led by Lauren Kung Jessen. This workshop is part of a series of events themed around the muses of Greek Mythology in promotion of the Parthenon’s latest exhibit, Christy Lee Rogers: The Muses. This romance workshop is inspired by Erato, the muse of lyric and love poetry.

Back by popular demand, Lockeland Strings’ latest ECHO Series at the Parthenon performance will showcase singer songwriters backed by the Lockeland Strings ensemble.

Select Thursdays 4 – 6 PM and Final Friday 2 – 4 PM

Work alongside Parthenon artists to create your own sketch of the world-class casts of the Parthenon Marbles.

Join us for an exciting improv performance and following workshop, connected to the Christy Lee Rogers: The Muses exhibit, at The Parthenon with Emma Supica and Anne Veal from Unscripted! This in-person event is a great opportunity to learn about the comedic arts and have a good laugh.

Join a free virtual talk by Dr. Christopher Beekman, professor of anthropology at the University of Colorado, Denver. He will talk about his archaeological work in Western Mexico and what we can learn about these ancient artifacts.

2:00-3:30 PM – RSVP required

Dr. Nicole Richard Williams will share fascinating facts and stories about how music impacts our emotions and can accompany us in tragedy. There will also be a workshop component allowing attendees to explore their own connections with music. No prior musical experience or skill needed!

This exhibition is a hands-on exploration of what replicas can teach us and how they are used to convey the latest theories and discoveries.

The Fisk Jubilee Singers, Nashville’s global musical ambassadors since 1871, will make their ECHO Chamber Music Series at the Parthenon debut in 2025! The Fisk Jubilee Singers are an a cappella ensemble from Nashville’s Fisk University that perform Negro spirituals originally sung by slaves prior to the Civil War.

Join a free talk in the Naos on Level 2 by Dr. Bridget Buxton, archaeologist and Professor of Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of Rhode Island. She will share her work on the new excavations at the biblical site of King Herod’s harbor in Caesarea.

This free family event brings the Nashville community together to celebrate our planet, inspire positive environmental change, and support sustainable small businesses & nonprofits.

This free Nashville tradition celebrates American handmade, finely crafted artwork directly from the juried, award-winning artists.

Our Musicians Corner program returns for its 16th season! These annual events will feature performances by many local artists, artisan vendors, craft beer, wine, and cocktails, local food trucks, Kidsville activities, and featured community partners.

Metro Parks Music’s multi-generational series hosts dancers and spectators enjoying swing & jazz favorites with free dance lessons before each performance.

Join Small World Yoga for International Day of Yoga at Centennial Park on Friday, June 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.

Water Lantern Festival brings people together to Light The Water in a magical night that includes food, music, and beauty as lanterns reflect upon Lake Watauga.

Musicians Corner’s 16th season celebration year returns this Fall every Friday in September from 5-9 PM. Each event features food trucks, Kidsville activities, local artisans, the MC Pub, and Featured Community Partners.

Join the Kidsville Family Festival. A fun-filled day with activities including: live music, costumes, arts & crafts, mascot photo station, musical meet & greets, inflatables & lawn games, obstacle course, painting, etc. More details to be announced.
