A tornado that moved through parts of Robertson County Tuesday has been officially rated an EF-1 following a damage assessment by the National Weather Service, with peak winds estimated at 95 miles per hour.
Officials say no injuries have been reported, and damage was limited to a small number of structures and vehicles, along with scattered tree debris across affected areas. Emergency leaders noted the outcome reflects strong community preparedness and a quick response from first responders.
The Robertson County Emergency Management Agency expressed appreciation for the coordinated efforts of multiple agencies that assisted during the event, including US National Weather Service Nashville Tennessee, Robertson County 911, Ridgetop Fire Department, Greenbrier Fire Department TN, Robertson County Emergency Medical Services, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, Nashville Electric Service, and Nashville Office of Emergency Management.
Authorities say those joint efforts helped protect residents and reduce the overall impact of the storm.
Emergency officials will continue working with local, state, and federal partners in the aftermath. Residents are encouraged to stay weather aware and ensure they have multiple ways to receive alerts in future severe weather situations.
