“Seahorse” Anthony Eugene Seay, Sr. “Tony” passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home. He was born April 7, 1944 in Erin, TN to James & Edna Earline Pulley Seay. He worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight until his retirement. He enjoyed watching boxing and operating excavation equipment of all kinds. He is preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Shirley Butler, Patsy Locke, Betty Seay, and Penny Peacher; 2 brothers, James Robert Seay and Lee Seay; brother-in-law, Charles Barton. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Seay; son, Tony Seay, both of Cross Plains, TN; brothers, Allen (Peggy) Seay and Joe (Gail) Seay both of Nashville, TN; sisters, Mary Ruth (Ricky) Baxter and Dabbie Barton, both of Nashville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Logan Seay and Valerie Seay. Funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, 2019 at 1 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Jonathan Finch officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family is planned for Tuesday, June 22, 2021 5-9 pm, and Wednesday, June 23, 2021 10 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
